Hannah and Ian get Married at Woolfen Mill, Lancashire

I met Hannah and Ian just after Christmas 2014 and got on with them instantly. They are such a lovely laid back couple I knew that their wedding would be fantastic and full of love. When people ask me my style of photography the main use I word is relaxed and that's what Hannah and Ian wanted.

Before the wedding itself we got together at Beacon Fell so that they could get used to the camera, by the end of it I think they secretly liked having their picture taken, and when the wedding day came they felt like good friends.

The wedding reception and wedding breakfast were held at Woolfen Mill, Chipping, a really gorgeous and unique venue in the heart of the Ribble Valley. It was fantastic as Hannah and Ian's family had sole use of the buildings so it was very relaxed and dogs were allowed - which meant we had three!

As the evening rolled around we all travelled over to Longridge - massive Thank You to Howard for the use of his awesome Land Rover Defender - which in everyone else's words was 'a beast.' Hannah organised the Defender as a surprise for Ian and I think he was definitely surprised! On the way over we managed to stop and have some quiet time looking over the Lancashire hills. The calm before the storm...

The evening reception was held at the Derby Arms in Longridge where Jonny and his team were lovely. After a really mixed day weather wise we were treated to an absolutely beautiful sunset - the perfect way to end the day! As I left it felt more like a festival than a wedding as everyone partied to the Sydney Gumboots. I really didn't want to leave, but as I was catching a flight at 9 the next day - thought I better had!

Other credits go to The Flower Farm at Burscough for the GORGEOUS flowers which I couldn't stop taking pictures of, The Cobbled Corner at Chipping for the wonderful food which looked delicious and Lisa Marie Cakes who made the stunning cake.

Congratulations Ian and Hannah, I really had the best day, I couldn't actually wait to get back from holiday to edit the pictures for you, it was the perfect combination of laughter, love and laid backness (not sure that's actually a word!)

This is just a teeny, tiny selection of images from the day, if you would like a copy of any of the below or any that aren't on here, please drop me an email and I will send you a USB with all the high resolution edited images for just £15, once they have been sent to Hannah and Ian.

I would love you to leave a comment at the bottom of this blog, whether its for me or the Bride and Groom!
