Hannah & Gareth's Winter Wonderland Tithe Barn Wedding, Cumbria
Romantic Winter Wedding Photographer in Carlisle, Cumbria
On a cold Winter's Day in Carlisle, two lovely people decided to brighten our day with a wonderful Winter Wonderland wedding.
We turned up to the Tithe Barn, Carlisle late on Friday night to take a look at the venue and say Hi to Hannah and Gareth. We were greeted by what can only be described as a small army of people decorating this lovely space and turning it in to a magical, romantic wedding reception venue. They did a fantastic job as you will see!
Throughout the day it was clear to see how thoughtful and caring Hannah and Gareth are, towards each other and their friends and families and that reflected in their wedding day. From the hand crafted centre pieces to the unique Picnic Hamper Wedding Breakfast you could just tell how much love and care had gone in to the day.
We started the day at Angel Hair Studio where the bridal party had hair done in addition to make up by Aileen at Dreamsday Spa, and then moved on to Hannah's house. When we arrived back the gorgeous flowers by Stanwix Gallery, Carlisle had been delivered, and they were just beautiful!
Once the bride and bridesmaids were good to go Hannah's surprise transportation picked them up; a Volkswagon Splitscreen Campervan - in matching colours! Gareth had organised the campervan from Splitscreen Dreams, Carlisle, and it was lovely!
The wedding ceremony was held at Lady Gillford's House, Carlisle followed by the reception at the Tithe Barn.
The Wedding Breakfast was a really unique touch to the day! Catered by The Bootleg Belly, each table had a designated Head Chef who's responsibility was to make sure that the table got a number of delicious delights by delivering the food from The Bootleg Belly team. The food itself was a delicious picnic hamper full of goodies such as Salmon and Prawn Parcels, Roast Gammon with Cumberland Sauce and Cheddar and Pickle Cheese Sandwiches. MMMMmmmm...And for desert? Everyone helped out on this one! A home-made desert table was a site for sore eyes (and greedy bellies).
As 9pm came around it was time for more food...scrummy pie from The Pie Mill, and after all that food there was only one thing left to do...dance it all off! The Funk Conspiracy provided the soundtrack for the evening,
Other wonderful people that helped in the creation of Hannah and Gareth's special day included SVL Hire who wrapped the beams in fairy lights, provided the fantastic blue up lighters and brought the big picture frame - you'll see what we mean in the pictures! Finishing touches provided the beautiful chair covers,
