Winter Wedding at The Villa, Wrea Green

Karen and Dennis get married at The Villa, near Lytham St Annes, Lancashire

I love coming back to The Villa at Wrea Green, there is something so homely about it. This is my fourth time photographing a wedding there! After a run of really rainy days Karen and Dennis were blessed with a beautiful sunny Winters day for their wedding - blue skies - hello! Come to think of I think The Villa is blessed with the Fylde Coast micro-climate as it always seems to be good weather over there!

When we arrived Karen was already having her hair and make-up done in the Bridal Suite whilst the boys - Dennis and Jake were getting ready downstairs. It was such a happy vibe in the Bridal Suite with a few (happy) tears thrown in for good measure!

The reception was at The Villa held in the main room - its such a beautiful space followed by a small intimate wedding breakfast held in the Piano Room. Once the food and speeches were done with we grabbed a few more minutes outside for some portraits before the dancing commenced! The guests were entertained by PC Roadshows who did a great job of getting everyone out of their seats and dancing!

It was a fantastic day and a big thanks goes out to Laura Duggleby Photography who joined me as my second shooter and Worthington Films who filmed the day - what a team.
