Charlotte and Calum's summer wedding at Stockport Town Hall was exactly the kind of relaxed, character-filled day I love photographing. As a wedding photographer, I regularly photograph weddings across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West, and Stockport Town Hall is a brilliant setting for anywedding.

Charlotte and Calum chose the Oval Room for their ceremony, followed by a day filled with brilliant details, great people, live music and plenty of personality.

Gah! Charlotte and Calum, super cool, super gorgeous and their wedding was just THE best day! I had met them both before on their pre-wedding shoot and I just knew their wedding was going to be a dream.

We arrived in the morning - my buddies The Darks were on video duty and the getting ready was in full swing!

Charlotte had some absolutely stunning details - those Jimmy Choos and she looked like a vision. Once everyone was ready we headed to Stockport Town Hall for the wedding ceremony. They had opted for the oval room which was amazing. I loved having people all around and them being in the middle. The ceremony was performed by Charlotte’s long time friend Joey who did a wonderful job.

What is Stockport Town Hall like as a wedding venue?

Having photographed Charlotte and Calum's wedding at Stockport Town Hall, one of the things I particularly loved was the Oval Room. Having guests gathered around the couple created a really intimate atmosphere during the ceremony, and it gave me plenty of opportunities to photograph reactions and little moments between family and friends.

The building itself also gives you lots of options for photographs, from the grand architecture inside the Town Hall - those staircases! To the streets around the Town Hall including the beautiful buildings across the road.
