Boho Wedding at Wyresdale Park, Scorton

Wyresdale Park Wedding Photographer, Preston Lancashire

Nick and Emma's Beautiful Spring Wedding

Two years ago I had the wonderful privilege of being the photographer at one of the first weddings to take place at Wyresdale Park in Scorton and even back then I completely fell in love with the rustic Lancashire venue. Two years later along with many wonderful additions I was lucky enough to photograph the gorgeous wedding of Emma and Nick.

I couldn't wait to get back to Wyresdale Park and see what changes James, Kate and the team had made, and just be in what I consider to be an amazing, creative environment and what's more we were blessed with a scorcher of a day!

I arrived early doors to find Emma and the gorgeous Bridesmaids getting ready in the North Wing (I'd like to move in there please!) And whilst I photographed the ladies, my second shooter - the wonderful Gemma from Gemma Mcauley Photography photographed the chaps getting ready down at The Priory in Scorton.

Before we knew it it was time to go to St Mary & St James Church for the wedding ceremony which was really beautiful. After the service we headed on back up to Wyresdale Park where guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn whilst being entertained by James Bell Sax Garstang. Drinks in the sun, mmmmm Summer must be here!!

One of the things that I love about Wyresdale Park is its rustic charm, and Gemma from Bluebells and Daisies did THE best job of dressing the reception room and also the bridal party flowers! Perfection... especially Emma's wedding bouquet - one of my favourites to date!

After drinks we all piled in to the wedding barn for speeches and food provided by The Striped Pig. I do love it when I get fed at a wedding and this was MEGA, so thanks guys.

Just as the sun started to set we managed to grab some time alone down by the boating lake before the wedding party kicked off! What an amazing day Nick and Emma, I was sooooo pleased to be able to be party of it. You both looked amazing and it was clear to see how much your friends and family adore you too. I can’t wait to be back at Wyresdale Park next year so if you are looking for a wedding photographer get in touch!
